Introducing Shona


I met Shona in 2015 while working for Lift The Bar, a company who have created a centre of excellence for fitness professionals to develop their skills, knowledge and experience as they progress in their career.

Shona’s desire and drive to help her clients is a particularly strong quality and she truly connects with others through skilful communication.  Her work has evolved from personal training and she now excels as a Life Coach.

Shona’s kindness and genuine care could easily hide the fact that she is a strong, determined and focused lady, qualities that shine every time she attacks a challenge.  When I say attack, I mean exactly that - full steam ahead with complete focus and a robust edge.  She recently announced her latest challenge to hike through the Pacific Crest Trail - 2600 miles - now that’s a challenge!

Shona's Story

In my work as a Life Coach I love helping people push past barriers that hold them back from living their dreams. And I'm also passionate about walking the talk! So this July I'm setting of on the adventure of a life time.

I'm going to attempt to through-hike the Pacific Crest Trail in the U.S. I'll be walking from the USA/Canadian Border to the USA/Mexican Border, 2600 miles. I'll be camping and carrying all my own food and water and it will take about 5 months. I'm planning on fundraising as I walk, for a local Inverness based charity Mikey's Line which helps young people with their mental health.
