My business is built on ethics more than a business plan and while I charge fees for my work I also feel strongly about giving something back. One way I have chosen is to support one amateur athlete each year as they work towards a lifetime goal. Those lifetime goals tend to cost and when there’s travel and specialist equipment required a wee boost from elsewhere can help. I do what I can on the financial side but having worked towards a number of lifetime fitness goals myself I know that having some extra heartfelt words of encouragement can also help – I have a bucket load of encouragement to share.
